Bits and Bytes

This project aimed to explore the expanded notions of databases. My first encounter with databases was in visiting the local library. Organized using a database, books are a storage space for ideas and language. This system is also permanent enough to still be in use today. By writing concepts on the page, they become permanent and engrained in the readers. To render this concept tangible, I wrote and illustrated a children's book. Printing this book implied the importance of teaching this to new generations. The content of the book is in itself engrained with morality and values. An adult reader of the book may only grasp some of which, while the allusion of such concepts maintain the interest of children.
