Axes of Expression

It is common to believe that kinetic text can only exist within the confines of screen based media. In fact, there are many strategies to provoque a dynamic reading of text, even on a peice of paper. Poets, as they are labeled, experiment with typography to attein new emotional meanings through their words. It is important to consider that placing a word where it will be read entails encoding new meaning with the word. This text is part of a vast visual language. These forms which construct words are akin to lines squares, circles and more graphical elements, each of which able to convey the author’s perspective.

In the examples at hand, manipulators of the digital medium explore the genetics of typography. Characters are more than representations of audible expression.
